Classificação, fatores de risco, fisiopatologia e complicações cicatriciais das lesões por pressão: uma síntese narrativa

O objetivo do trabalho foi discorrer acerca da classificação utilizada para lesões de pele, seus fatores de risco, mecanismos associados à sua fisiopatologia, e suas complicações cicatriciais decorrentes de infecção bacteriana. Dessa forma foram analisados trabalhos publicados acerca do tema no período de 2012 a 2022, nos bancos de dados on-line National Library of Medicine, Brasil Scientific Electronic Library Online, Google Acadêmico e Repositórios Institucionais. Então, após analisar os dados encontrados na literatura, e seguir os critérios de inclusão estabelecidos, observa-se que alguns fatores de risco estão diretamente associados com o quadro geral do paciente, progressão e recorrência das LPPs e ainda, correlacionados com as alterações da microbiota cutânea. Portanto, obteve-se que deve ser priorizada uma abordagem integrativa da fragilidade da pele, envolvendo os principais fatores de risco para essa condição, bem como o manejo adequado da microbiota das lesões, reduzindo o risco geral e a incidência de LPPs e LPPs infeccionadas, minimizando custos com a saúde e melhorando os resultados dos pacientes.
