Atividade Física e radiação UV: medidas de proteção e prevenção de dermatoses cutâneas - uma revisão de literatura

A prática de atividade física ao ar livre foi intensificada durante o período de distanciamento social exigido como medida sanitária para controle do avanço da pandemia de COVID-19 e apontou a relevância do estímulo a proteção e prevenção de dermatoses cutâneas e fotoenvelhecimento desencadeados pela exposição à radiação UV durante a prática de exercícios. Da mesma forma que a atividade física promove o bem estar físico e mental, a proteção cutânea através da utilização de filtros solares contribui para manutenção da integridade estrutural e metabólica da pele e prevenção de alterações cutâneas. A escolha do filtro solar mais adequado para cada tipo de pele bem como a correta aplicação são essenciais para que a atividade física seja praticada de forma mais segura.
